inBuilding helps you navigate to the Cloud and use it better by enabling access to a full suite of Cloud-based solutions, including Fog Banks™, Productivity Solutions (such as Microsoft Office 365), cloud-based Access Control systems, and cloud-based Video Surveillance systems.
Fog Bank™
inBuilding developed and is deploying Fog Banks, a patent-pending process which brings the Cloud closer to the users. Fog Banks apply edge and fog computing to the multi-tenant marketplace to uniquely address the key issues with Cloud computing: latency, bandwidth, and security.
Fog Banks transforms the Cloud with on-demand computing power, application server, document server and data storage solution which takes advantage of high-speed connections within and from a building to applications, storage and other solutions in a neighboring data center.
Microsoft’s Office 365
A key Cloud solution available through inBuilding is the installation, integration and support of Microsoft’s Office 365, your modern business in the Cloud. At its heart is the familiar Office applications (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). With Microsoft 365, you can get work done from anywhere, online or offline, and they can get to—and work with—the most up-to-date versions of the files and tools they need to get things done. It’s about bringing enterprise-grade services to organizations of all sizes, from online meetings to sharing documents to business-class email.
Access Control
inBuilding installs, integrates and supports Cloud-based access control systems for your office. Access control allows you to control who can come into your suite, and inBuilding works with the leading provider of cloud-based access control systems, such as OpenPath. OpenPath combines sleek hardware with an app enabling you to enter the office using your smartphone, smartwatch, card or touch.
Video Surveillance
inBuilding works with several video camera systems, including Verkada which modernizes video surveillance. Verkada eliminates the need for local servers, firewall equipment and network video recorders (NVRs), reducing complexity and lowering operating costs. Each Verkada camera compresses, encrypts and stores video footage. This improves security by doing away with single points of failure and unencrypted NVRs. It also minimizes bandwidth consumption by avoiding continuous video upload.
